The entire Pritchett/Dunphy clan heads to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, to spend a week on a dude ranch. Claire isn't happy that Haley insisted on bringing Dylan along. Phil, who's always been in Dylan's corner, pushes Claire to be a little more tolerant of Dylan. Claire eventually caves, and tells Dylan that she's happy he came along unknowingly giving him the green light to make a surprising announcement.
